Hello, Urbana!
I’m Annie Feldmeier Adams.
I am running because I love living in Urbana. Over a decade of community service has given me a deep understanding of our diverse community’s values—safety, inclusivity, vibrancy, and a commitment to sustainability. However, our residents can no longer bear the burden of high property taxes, which also increase rent costs.
We need a safer community, improved infrastructure, and more affordable housing to attract talent from around the world. My professional experience at the University of Illinois equips me to help propel Urbana forward, building on the strong foundation established by Mayor Diane Wolfe Marlin.
